Indulge in this rich and creamy Baileys chocolate mousse, a simple yet decadent dessert that requires only five ingredients. Perfect for serving over the festive season, this dessert can be prepared ahead of time and garnished with your favourite toppings, such as crushed pistachios, orange zest or a dusting of cacao.
Preparation time: 15 minutes and chill overnight. Serves 6.
Ingredients
100g dark chocolate
350 silken tofu
2 tbsp maple syrup
1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
80ml Baileys cream liqueur
Chopped nuts or cocoa powder to top (optional)
Make it dairy-free: Substitute the Baileys for 60ml of a liqueur such as Tia Maria.
Method
1. Melt the dark chocolate and set aside to cool slightly.
2. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and process until smooth.
3. Spoon into ramekins and chill in the fridge overnight.
4. Garnish with chopped nuts or a dusting of cocoa powder before serving, if you like.
